Our Beliefs — Marion Baptist Church

The goal of Marion Baptist Church is to serve as a beacon that shines the light of Jesus Christ as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission.

We will live our lives daily, striving to find our identity in Jesus Christ and not anything or anyone else.

(Galatians 2:20; Mark 8:34)

We will intentionally find ourselves engaged with the Bible and any other activity that will grow us spiritually.

(2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We will have an inner desire to be more attuned with and led by the Holy Spirit in all aspects of our lives.

(John 16:13; Galatians 5:25)

We will work to find every opportunity possible to hold each other accountable and to show the love of Jesus to the community.

(Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)

We will engage with other believers to hold each other accountable and to show the love of Jesus to the community.

(James 2:20 & 26)

We will participate in investing in the lives of others with the purpose of making disciples who in turn make disciples themselves.
